JUNIOR OR COACH MEMBERSHIP
Full Junior Athlete Membership (Ages 12-18)
Junior Athlete One-Time Membership (Valid for one event only during season. If athlete choses to enter a second event, an upgrade membership is required)
Upgrade from One-Time to Full Membership (only for athletes who previously purchased a one-time membership. This membership upgrade is REQUIRED if an athlete wishes to participate in a second event) and LiveHeats will charge you the difference in cost
Junior Athlete Under 12 Membership (age is determined as on end of 12/31/2024)
Coach Membership
Valid until April 20th of each calendar year (those wishing to compete in South America must have purchased the following season's membership)
NOTE: Memberships are mandatory for all junior athletes competing in the IFSA Junior Series IFSA ADULT QUALIFIER MEMBERSHIP
Full Qualifier Tour License
One-Time Qualifier License (Valid for one event only during season)
Adult Collegiate License (available for athletes ages 18-25 and enrolled as a full-time collegiate student)
Valid until April 20th
NOTE: Memberships are mandatory for all athletes competing in the IFSA Qualifier Series Just a reminder, both IFSA and TJFS Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
1. Eligibility For TJFS ("FAR WEST") Membership A. Current 2024-25 IFSA Membership is required to participate in the TJFS.
B. Type of Athlete i. CA/NV Team athletes who are current and participating on a TJFS Team. a. Ski teams: Bear Valley Ski Team, Diamond Peak Ski Team, Heavenly Competition Teams, Kirkwood Freeride, Mammoth Mountain Ski Team, Mount Rose Ski Team, Team Palisades Tahoe Freeride, Olympic Valley Freeride, Sierra at Tahoe, SugarBowl Freeride Team, plus independent athletes. b. Snowboard teams: Kirkwood, Mammoth, Palisades Tahoe and Sugar Bowl Snowboard Teams ii. Out of region athletes are accepted under the following parameters: a. Are required to attend the comp with an IFSA Certified Coach. b. Out of region coaches are required to meet TJFS Coach Requirements. See TJFS Coach Requirements. c. Are only allowed to compete when their IFSA certified coach is present. iii. Independent athletes are accepted under the following parameters: a. Are required to be an IFSA member. b. Are required to attend the comp with an IFSA Certified Coach. c. Independent coaches are required to meet TJFS Coach Requirements. d. Are only allowed to compete when their IFSA certified coach is present.
C. If you register for TJFS events and are ineligible to compete in the TJFS regional series you will forfeit your registration fee for TJFS membership and the event. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions about your eligibility.

2. Registration Steps for Athlete Membership: The following are necessary documents for membership enrollment:
Renewing Athlete: Knowing your past IFSA login information is helpful, it is best to login to a past account versus adding a subsequent new account.
First time Athlete: Click the button below and establish your account.
2022-23 IFSA Membership number: This is an important number to know and retain.
Current Health Insurance information (carrier name, policy number) will be required.
Payment information will be required.
Membership fees
IFSA $120
TJFS $120 which covers the membership fee covers bibs/stickers, the series T-shirt, production/operational costs, venue management and more.
3. Single Use TJFS Membership Select the single use TJFS Membership category when prompted during registration.
The single use membership is intended for first time competitors that want to experience a freeride competition for the first time.
This discounted rate is not intended for first time 12 year old athletes that intend to compete in the entire series.
The single use membership is available for out of region athletes who will compete in only one Far West (TJFS) event.
4. Upgrade to Full TJFS Membership Return to the registration website when you decide you want to compete in another event in the series and select the 2023-24 Junior Athlete Upgrade to complete your membership upgrade, additional fees will apply.
