The Venue is Rock Garden. To access the venue take KT and go down the saddle ridge. You will see the flags on your right. Spectators can take the saddle groomer to the base of the venue. ATHLETES! remember to open the email from Docusign and sign your waivers after your parents have signed first! Athletes who arrive with all their paperwork "good to go" will get some new TJFS swag! Athletes please be aware of the lift lines this weekend so you don't miss your start. Plan ahead and get to the start early! We are looking forward to a great event this weekend! 7:30-8:15 Check-in 8:00 Coach and Judge meeting 8:15 Mandatory Athlete Meeting 8:30 Load/inspection for 15-18 Athletes and Coaches only 10:00 Competition Start Time permitting,we will run a final for the 15-18 Divisions only. Awards will be 90 minutes after the last competitor. Peter Hawks will give the Flyin' Ryan presentation prior to the awards. 12-14 and Snowboard Results will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Sunday. There will not be a final for 12-14 and Snowboarders. We are switching the run order so we can can have the best chance of giving everyone one run. The new order will be:
12-14 boys All Snowboard 12-14 Girls Approximate start time is 12:45. Athletes need to boot pack to the start via Sherwood Chair or Round House. From Sherwood Chair go toward the Our Father Traverse and look up to the left. From Rounds House Traverse toward the ABC Chair to the venue rope line and the boot pack goes up the rope line. Saturday
The Venue is High Yellow for 12-14 Ski Divisions and All Snowboard We are planning for an 8:30 Athlete Load tomorrow morning. 12-14 Divisions and All Snowboard will have priority for inspection. If possible we will allow 15-18 divisions to take an inspection lap in the morning. Please attend the mandatory athlete meeting for updates. The competition is on hold due to ongoing weather and avalanche control. Check-in is open please make sure you have completed your Docusign waivers and you have a copy of your insurance card prior to your arrival. We will post another update at 11:30 and are hoping for a 12:30 lift opening to provide access for a visual inspection of the venue. Due to extreme weather and limited operations at Alpine we need to adjust the comp schedule.
Thursday: CANCELED Friday: Registration and Inspection.
Saturday: Competition Day for 12-14 Divisions and All Snowboard Competitors.
Sunday: Competition Day for 15-18 Divisions (no snowboard).
The TJFS Crew IMPORTANT UPDATE for IFSA Alpine National:
Due to extreme weather and limited operations at Alpine we need to adjust the comp schedule. Thursday is cancelled. We will not have Inspection or Check-in on Thursday. We are working with Mountain Ops on an adjusted schedule that will hopefully allow a two run comp. We will post the new schedule in the next few hours.
